About The Position

At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. Through a human-centered design process, we create vehicles and experiences that are designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. We’re turning today’s impossible into tomorrow’s standard —from breakthrough hardware and battery systems to intuitive design, intelligent software, and next-generation safety and entertainment features. Every day, our products move millions of people as we aim to make driving safer, smarter, and more connected, shaping the future of transportation on a global scale. The Role Virtual engineering is a key enabler to achieving industry leading speed, built-in quality, and new product throughput. The Propulsion Virtual Engineering team supports analysis of all propulsion systems and subsystems ranging from the Advanced Engineering to the Production phases of development. We are looking for energetic candidates who love to learn fast and lead virtual engineering projects. In addition, initiative, creativity, decision making, project management, and the ability to clearly & concisely provide technical direction while working with multiple functional groups are all qualities we are seeking in the candidates for our team. The Propulsion Virtual Performance Integration Manager (VPIM) is responsible for coordinating all propulsion electrification analysis activity for a product program and acts as the single point contact to the program chief engineer for analysis related activities.
