Propulsion Systems Design and Systems Engineer

Our organization is in search of outstanding individuals to help shape the direction of our next generation of electrified propulsion systems. The Research & Advanced Engineering Propulsion Design and Systems Engineer will develop and test innovative advanced electrified propulsion systems and technologies for future electrified vehicles. Successful applicants will provide electrified propulsion expertise for advanced propulsion system design, lead integration of electrified components and systems, and develop systems-level tradeoffs in advanced propulsion systems and vehicles. This position entails working collaboratively with Ford internal and external teams including Systems Engineering, Software/Controls, Component D&R, and suppliers to design and develop systems and components to support innovative advanced electrified propulsion systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test innovative advanced electrified propulsion systems and technologies
- Provide electrified propulsion expertise for advanced propulsion system design
- Lead integration of electrified components and systems
- Develop systems-level tradeoffs in advanced propulsion systems and vehicles
- Work collaboratively with Ford internal and external teams including Systems Engineering, Software/Controls, Component D&R, and suppliers to design and develop systems and components to support innovative advanced electrified propulsion systems.
