Requirements

  • Graduated in the past 6 months, or graduating in May of 2025, with a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
  • Project Management: Ability to own complex technical projects, collaborating with design engineering, manufacturing, and production personnel
  • Manufacturing familiarity with assembly of hardware, machining, additive manufacturing, and test safety
  • Experience working hands-on for a project and taking ownership of complex technical problems.
  • Learning to work with and train technicians in a hands-on hardware environment, writing work instructions, and process plans for complex assemblies
  • Ability to design tooling using Siemens NX or other CAD tools, including conceptualization, modeling and drafting, and preliminary analysis

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship experience in an engineering/technical role.
  • Exposure to GD&T and experience working with machined parts
  • Experience working in a hands-on with rocket engine hardware
  • Familiarity with component testing and instrumentation

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of key processes and/or hardware production for Aeon-R engine manufacturing
  • Create manufacturing work instructions and have a strong understanding of production strategy for hardware.
  • Investigate and resolve hardware non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and testing plans for components and assemblies.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, test engineers, technicians, and internal machine shop for hardware development, manufacturing, test, and scalability.
  • Work closely with supply chain team to procure hardware and meet schedule plans.
