A Propulsion Functional Safety Software Engineer will create, implement, and validate the software algorithms that ensure our products meet Ford's implementation of ISO26262. The controls and software include various monitors and barriers that ensure the functional safety of the electrified powertrain torque path and prevent safety goal violations. Attention to detail is key, as a functional safety software developer must deliver clean, understandable code that is traceable to requirements and test procedures. As a member of the Propulsion functional safety software team, you will join a vibrant group of individuals who work in collaboration with a wide range of teams across departments and engage in developing simple, safe solutions to deliver Ford's next-generation electrified powertrain vehicles.
