At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight. As a Propulsion Engineer you will join other passionate and accomplished experts to deliver technically mature the BE-7 Lunar Lander Engine. The group's scope encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from initial requirements to final delivery. Our overarching goal is facilitating design evolution and production at rate. Your team will provide new or revised design releases for a variety of primary/secondary structures, heat exchangers, gimbal joints, flexible elements, insulation, and pressurized cryogenic fluid systems. Work will incorporate knowledge from test campaigns, and builds, at multiple Blue Origin Sites and will support hardware non-conformances and root cause analysis for these same efforts. In this role you will partner with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Technicians, and other Propulsion Engineers from adjacent groups. Here you will exercise your technical judgement to inform solutions for development and manufacturing, optimally balancing risk and design, in support of all Blue Origin programs. You will also hone your leadership skills by mentoring, training, and collaborating with peers on various assignments.
