About The Position

This is a contract Proposal Writer role with a hybrid setup based in the Raleigh-Durham Area, with flexibility to work from home on select days. The Proposal Writer will be responsible for leading and managing the development of proposals in response to RFPs and other solicitations. Daily tasks include creating clear and compelling proposals, coordinating with subject matter experts, organizing proposal deliverables, managing proposal schedules, and ensuring compliance with guidelines and client requirements. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Proposal Writing, Proposal Coordinator, and working with Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request For Information (RFI's)
  • Proficiency in Technical Writing and developing clear, engaging, and compliant documentation
  • Strong Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, living in the Raleigh/Durham area.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation
  • Must be able to work independently and understand Performance work statements (PWS), or Statement of works (SOW).

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years Experience with federal or government proposal processes is a plus
