About the position

The Proposal Strategy Manager at MOREgroup will lead business development efforts across various architectural and engineering brands, focusing on creating customized proposals and managing client relationships. This role involves collaborating with multiple teams to ensure high-quality submissions and strategic engagement with clients, particularly in the education, healthcare, and public architecture sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and client relationship efforts within your region.
  • Search IMS and other sources for proposal opportunities; engage with Strategy Directors and Client Relationship Directors to pre-position opportunities and execute client development plans.
  • Submit KPI data on leads and pursuits within your region; collaborate with Strategy Director to ensure data integrity; support training efforts for regional/practice leaders in successfully communicating new leads and required KPI data.
  • Responsible for regional Go/No-Go decision making using an informed, collaborative process.
  • Engage Vice President of Strategy and Strategy Directors in Tier 1 proposals and interviews to develop a winning strategy.
  • Lead and execute development/design of qualification, proposal, and interview presentations, including all printing, packaging, and logistics associated.
  • Write and edit content for RFQ/RFP responses, interview presentations, and other marketing collateral as needed.
  • Translate technical information into clear and interesting written or digital content tailored to the target audience.
  • Attend practice-focused client relationship meetings; lead regionally focused client relationship meetings.
  • Manage the database of proposals, resumes, contacts, and project information.
  • Support coordination of marketing materials, brand guidelines, and other marketing-related activities/tasks that impact business development.
  • Collaborate with MOREgroup marketing and internal project teams on special projects, such as award submittals, social media/marketing campaigns, website updates, etc.
  • Assist with regional event/tradeshow coordination, vendor relations, sponsorships, and client events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional marketing experience is required, specifically with A/E/C firms.
  • 5 years of Adobe InDesign, MS Office, and Adobe Suites experience is required as well as a keen eye for graphics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or relevant field.
  • Understanding or interest in the built environment is preferred, particularly education, healthcare, and public architecture.
  • Content creation, message development, and seamless organizational skills.
  • Editing and proofing capabilities to enhance narratives written by architectural professionals.
