Under general direction, the Proposal Specialist provides technical assistance to scientific and administrative staff throughout the full contract and grant life cycle. This includes pre-award activities such as reviewing and negotiating terms for Federal, private, and industry sponsors, as well as post-award administration, including managing amendments, modifications, and processing a proposal for requests for equitable adjustments to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. In this fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll assist in pulling together crucial information for submissions, reviewing data for accuracy, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical specifications, pricing details, and past performance data essential for proposal development, and perform all other related duties and tasks as required or assigned. Will also develop cost estimates and complete budgets, remain updated on policies and practices from major funding sources like the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense to ensure proposals follow regulations such as FAR, DFARS and OMB Circulars A-122, A-133 and A-110.
