The Proposal Manager will join a growing and dynamic Business Development team and be responsible for leading and developing compliant, high-quality solicitation responses for federal, state, and commercial clients. In addition to drafting and editing proposal content, the Proposal Manager will manage the full proposal lifecycle including compliance reviews, content development, coordination with cross-functional contributors, and final production for timely submission. This role requires strong attention to detail, deadline management, and experience working in structured government procurements, including responding to RFP’s RFQ’s, and related solicitations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Marketing, or other relevant major required from an accredited university
  • 3+ years of direct experience in proposal development, technical writing or solicitation response within structured environments
  • Proven technical writing and editing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and CRM Platforms such as Salesforce

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of federal evaluation methodologies including technical, management, and past performance volumes.
  • Experience responding to Sources Sought notices, RFIs, pre-solicitation activities, and formal government solicitations including RFPs and task orders

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly review and analyze assigned solicitations including RFPs, RFQs, task orders, and related procurement documents to understand scope of work, evaluation criteria, and compliance requirements
  • Manage proposal development timelines and coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure all milestones are met
  • Lead strategy discussions for priority pursuits to ensure alignment with client win themes and objectives
  • Draft, edit, and refine technical, management, and past performance content aligned with evaluation criteria
  • Ensure all submitted proposals are polished, compliant and, consistent with the Company’s structure and branding guidelines
  • Participate in debriefing sessions to gather insights on proposal performance, identify areas for improvement, and refine future strategies.
  • Perform miscellaneous editing/writing and project assignments as needed.
