About The Position

Alluvionic is seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Manager to support proposal development efforts for government and industry customers within the defense and government sector This role supports the full proposal lifecycle from opportunity intake through final submission. The Proposal Manager will drive cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with capture strategy, and deliver submissions on time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of tracking opportunities on both commercial and government sites ( GOVWIN, SAM.com, GSA, seaport, etc)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–7+ years of experience supporting or managing government proposals
  • Experience responding to U.S. Federal solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs)
  • Strong understanding of proposal compliance and evaluation criteria
  • Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Must be willing to travel

Responsibilities

  • Track Opportunities from intake through final submission
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in CRM
  • Lead end-to-end proposal development for U.S. Government opportunities, from kickoff through final submission
  • Translate solicitation requirements into compliance matrices, outlines, and structured response approaches
  • Establish and manage proposal schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time submission
  • Organize and maintain proposal folders, templates, and team communications throughout the proposal lifecycle
  • Participate in capture strategy and proposal planning meetings and implement agreed-upon response approaches
  • Organize, draft, and format technical and management content in compliance with solicitation requirements
  • Edit and standardize content from technical, management, and subcontractor contributors into a cohesive “one-voice” submission
  • Coordinate with engineering, program management, and business development teams to gather, validate, and clarify inputs
  • Select and integrate supporting materials such as tables, graphics, diagrams, and charts to strengthen proposals
  • Review and update proposal assets to ensure alignment with current customer requirements and company capabilities
  • Facilitate proposal reviews (e.g., color team reviews) and drive action items to completion
  • Manage subcontractor inputs and ensure compliance with solicitation requirements
  • Conduct final quality checks to ensure proposals are accurate, complete, compliant, and delivered on time
  • Identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, templates, and efficiency
