About The Position

In this role, you will track proposal information such as Q&As; review and identify the changes and their impact on the proposal. You'll manage communication with internal clients, including - Chief Officers, Vice President and other executives. Define timelines and milestones for multiple (simultaneous) proposal efforts and ensure adherence to those timelines. As well as, direct writing/editing/revision efforts; coordinate with volume leads to ensure consistency and compliance through Blue, Pink, Red, Green, Gold and White glove. Other responsibilities are listed below: Conduct regular proposal status meetings. Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying the Shipley proposal processes Develop outlines that present a compelling, innovative, and compliant approach to developing proposals Identify proposal development risks and propose creative mitigation strategies Create proposal elements such as matrices, tables, and graphs Use library content to pre-develop executive summaries and management approaches Document and discuss these impacts with the team and develop innovative ideas to address them Ensure past performance/resume updates are compliance with the proposal requirements and they are completed in timely manner Coordinate proposal kick off, color review and lessons learned meetings; ensure resulting action items and comments are addressed Review drafts to ensure proposal content flows, is consistent, is fully compliant, and effectively communicates a compelling technical approach Perform desktop publishing efforts to finalize proposal content Coordinate with graphic designers to ensure visually appealing graphics align to proposal content Participate in the development and review of win strategies and themes Liaise with contracts department to verify completion of NDAs and teaming agreements Coordinate development of pricing volumes with the pricing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years' experience in full life-cycle proposal writing, management, and development.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Commitment to profession demonstrated by participation in professional associations.
  • Understanding and experience with large, complex IT projects and organizations.
  • Skilled ability to coach writers on proposal best practices.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to plan, produce, and deliver compliant proposals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking.
  • Strong desktop publishing and content editing skills.
  • Proficient in managing a large volume of RFTOPs for Federal Agencies.
  • Understanding of Federal procurement policies and practices.
  • Skillful scheduling and leading proposal-related meetings.
  • Experienced in managing responses to Federal RFPs with a successful win record.
  • Savvy using SharePoint or similar tools for proposal development.
