About The Position

Pacific BioLabs is an independent CRO providing cGMP/GLP testing in toxicology, biocompatibility, pharmacology, analytical chemistry, and microbiology. We are currently seeking energetic scientists and professionals to support our clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device fields. Join us in our mission to improve public health through science! PBL has an immediate opening for a fulltime Proposal Manager. The Proposal Manager will play a critical role in facilitating business development activities at Pacific BioLabs including the generation of cost estimates and formal quotes for all testing services within the company. The Proposal Manager will also work closely with the finance team to ensure a timely and efficient client invoicing process. Requirements

Requirements

Minimal education of BA/BS degree, preferably in biology, chemistry, physics, or other scientific discipline.
Minimally, 2 years of administrative, business development, or other relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device-related industries.
High level of proficiency with English language in a business environment including reading, writing, and spoken skills.

Responsibilities

Efficiently and effectively work across testing departments and with the CSO and the business development team to generate accurate non-binding cost estimates and formal quotations for prospective clients.
Help develop pricing platforms/tools to ensure consistent and accurate cost estimates and quotations.
Serve as a key liaison between business development, the testing departments, and the finance team to ensure an efficient invoicing process between Pacific BioLabs and the client.
Train and mentor junior staff for all tasks related to this role.
Help manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform (HubSpot) when requested by the Director of Business Development.
