About The Position

The Proposal Engineer creates, manages, and delivers technical and commercial proposals, bids, and cost estimates in response to client requirements, primarily in manufacturing, construction, and engineering industries. Acting as a crucial link between sales and technical teams, analyzes project specs to ensure profitability, feasibility, and compliance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, etc.), manufacturing, or a related technical field is typically required.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications, CAD software, and industry standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and CRM/proposal software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing proposals and presenting solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proposal Development: Leading the end-to-end creation of proposals, including technical writing, scope definition, and document formatting.
• Cost Estimation: Preparing detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure competitive bids.
• Technical Analysis: Translating complex technical solutions into persuasive, easily understood content.
• Collaboration: Working with sales, project management, and engineering teams to validate project feasibility.
• Client Interface: Acting as a point of contact to clarify project requirements and technical queries.
