LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm that specializes in various sectors including Transportation, Water Resources, Geospatial and Site Design, Buildings Structure Design, and Safety/Fall Protection Design/Installation. The firm has a diverse expertise and client base, allowing it to serve clients across all 50 U.S. states and several countries. The Proposal Coordinator role is essential for supporting the company's growth by organizing and coordinating activities related to sales strategies, which include the preparation of proposals, sales meetings, events, and other document submissions. In this position, the Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for telling the LJB story and differentiating projects through proposal documents. This involves technical writing, where the coordinator will complete or direct the completion of various proposal documents, statements of qualifications, letters of interest, government forms, and client questionnaires. The role requires composing or editing answers to technical, essay-type questions and participating in proposal strategy to support sales professionals. The coordinator will also maintain a client database and all project data necessary for proposal generation using the firm's CRM system (Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint). Additionally, they will manage personnel and internal qualification information for proposal generation and coordinate, assemble, and prepare materials for client interviews and meetings, ensuring adherence to corporate branding and desktop publishing guidelines. Proficiency in basic graphic design and photo manipulation is required to fulfill these tasks effectively. The Proposal Coordinator will provide general support for sales activities performed by the sales staff and will take on other duties as assigned.
