Proposal Analyst Staff / Lvl 4 / Grand Prairie, TX

About the position

You will be the Proposal Pricing Specialist for the Tactical Missile Line of Business (LOB) team. Our team is at the forefront of driving business growth, responsible for navigating the entire proposal lifecycle - from responding to RFPs to securing contract awards - and we're looking for a pricing expert like you to help us stay ahead of the curve.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing proposal pricing strategies that meet business objectives
• Compiling and analyzing cost, schedule, and technical elements to support proposal development
• Conducting financial modeling and analysis, including rate studies, business case development, and cash flow analysis
• Researching and analyzing historical data to develop cost models and support proposal efforts
• Participating in should-cost and pricing reviews, contract negotiations, and interactions with DCAA and other audit agencies
• Initiating process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency within pricing and estimating functions
• Providing guidance and direction to less senior proposal analysts
• Developing, communicating, and implementing estimating and pricing policies and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Strong financial/analytical/technical skills
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Aptitude for learning financial software and/or database systems

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of FAR and Cost/Pricing Data
• Ability to summarize complex data to influence executive decision making
• Experience with multiple proposal contract types
• Prior experience as a proposal analyst leading major proposal efforts
