About The Position
We are seeking a Proposal Administrator who will be responsible for supporting Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL) research staff and administration in response to solicitations. The Proposal Administrator will oversee the end-to-end process of creating and submitting proposals in response to Broad Agency Announcements, financial assistance solicitations, Program Research and Development Announcements, and similar solicitations from other Federal agencies or non-Federal entities which are allowable under DOE policy. The Proposal Administrator will train and assist researchers in the solicitation process, review solicitations and sponsors for eligibility, develop and maintain metrics and reporting, and assist in the development of procedures for this process. The successful candidate will quickly develop knowledge and understanding of the federal and non-federal research solicitations related to research at a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) Laboratory. This position resides in the Strategic Partnerships Office (SPO) in the Partnerships Directorate, at ORNL.
