The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a property, ensuring maintenance and grounds are well-managed. This role involves marketing and renting units, collecting rent, and maintaining resident files, while also supervising staff and ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the property including maintenance and grounds.
  • Market and rent units to prospective tenants.
  • Collect and deposit rent payments.
  • Qualify applicants and recertify residents.
  • Create and maintain resident files.
  • Enter invoices and complete work orders.
  • Post notices and perform monthly inspections.
  • Report to corporate office and Asset Manager.
  • Conduct move in/move out inspections.
  • Perform weekly walkabouts of property exterior to maintain curb appeal.
  • Prepare court proceedings and file evictions as necessary.
  • Enforce community policies and comply with regulations.
  • Handle general office duties and refer questions to the Asset Manager.
  • High school diploma or GED and related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Windows operating system, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, email, data entry, scanning, and file management.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with customers and employees.
  • Mathematical skills to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and insurance.
  • Experience in property management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of local housing regulations and laws.
  • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
