About The Position

Legacy Partners is a privately held real estate firm that owns, develops, and manages multifamily communities throughout the United States. Since 1968, we have developed more than 78,000 apartment homes and have worked with some of the world's largest financial institutions, life insurance companies, and real estate companies. In addition to development, Legacy Partners provides management services for our own portfolio and other owners. Combined, we manage a portfolio of over 50 multifamily communities with more than 12,000 apartment homes with a gross value in excess of $3 billion. The Property Manager will manage all phases of the operation of an apartment community including, but not limited to, the general administration and maintenance; to direct and control all personnel and resources to the end that the community is maintained at all times in good physical condition with a stabilized fiscal operation according to Legacy standards and specific owner directives. Have complete and full responsibility for property P&L. Perform work of subordinates as needed. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Regional Property Manager. The schedule is Monday through Friday and requires availability for on-call emergencies.

Requirements

  • Experience in property management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of financial oversight and budget management.
  • Familiarity with marketing and leasing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Previous experience in multifamily property management.
  • Certifications in property management or real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the operation of an apartment community.
  • Direct and control all personnel and resources.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, fair housing laws, rent collection, leasing, and property maintenance.
  • Manage property budget, expenses, payroll, and leasing performance.
  • Monitor collections and approve financial reports.
  • Work with the Marketing Department to maximize occupancy through advertising, outreach, and social media management.
  • Address resident concerns, oversee move-ins/move-outs, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and safety meetings.
  • Prepare reports on budgets, occupancy, market trends, and operational performance.
