About The Position

Join Our Team at Burnam Holding Companies – Now Hiring a Property Manager! Are you a problem solver with a passion for Property Management? We’re on the hunt for a Property Manager to join our Columbia Rentals team. Columbia Rentals owns and manages the broadest rental portfolio in Columbia, MO. We have brand-new homes, apartments of all kinds, town homes, duplexes, and mobile homes. We are looking for someone with experience in sales, marketing and customer service and has a passion for real estate. Pay: $60,000+ yearly, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR 2 years of property management experience (ideally residential multifamily).
Prior sales experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work full time.
Strong financial management skills.
Knowledge of local real estate market trends, as well as relevant laws, regulations, and eviction procedures.
Familiarity with property maintenance and vendor management.
Must be organized and solution-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience showing apartments or homes is a plus.
Any relevant certifications, such as Certified Property Manager (CPM).

Responsibilities

Facilitates the complete leasing process: greeting customers, giving property tours, closing sales, and signing leases.
Maintains excellent working knowledge of our property, amenities, community, and competitors.
Able to interact positively with customers through phone, email, and in-person communication.
Directs on-site staff, contracted services & vendors to maintain the first-class appearance of the property.
Capable of adhering to approved budgets.
Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
Participates in regular inspections of customers' homes, common areas, building exteriors & landscape.
Anticipates & responds to customer needs/requests.
Other duties as assigned.
