About The Position

We are seeking an experienced property management professional with exceptional leadership, business and financial management, planning/problem solving and customer services skills to join our team! The Property Manager is responsible for leading the overall management and maintenance of Clover Field Marketplace and The Landing, 171 units of affordable and market rate housing in Chaska, MN! The Property Manager ensures that the properties are well-maintained, residents are satisfied, and all aspects of the properties run smoothly. This role involves supervising on-site staff, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Property Manager acts as the on-site leader, and ensures the buildings are maintained, clean, and welcoming places for residents and guests. The Property Manager reports directly to the Portfolio Director.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading a property management or closely related business team.
  • Affordable housing including but not limited to Section 8 and Tax Credit experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of preparing, understanding and managing budgets as well as increasing net operating income is a plus
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing or significantly impacted by mental health, substance use, poverty, and trauma is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in interpersonal communication that is culturally responsive, ensuring consideration for differing needs and expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain positive resident relations resulting in strong resident retention.
  • Must be a resourceful, problem solving, relationship-building, seeker of excellence, with a commitment to Aeon's mission.
  • Solid and proven work ethic with the ability to use good judgment, prioritize and execute wide-ranging workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a commitment to learning and participating in Aeon's diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 10lbs.
  • Ability to reach above and below shoulder height.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to conduct property tours and inspections: Includes walking through hallways, stairwells, leasing offices, common areas, and vacant or occupied apartment homes. This may involve navigating multiple floors and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to file documents and enter data for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying external weather conditions.
