About The Position

Premier Property Management is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Property Manager to lead operations at Piquette Square Apartments, a well-established permanent supportive housing community serving our nation’s veterans. Piquette Square is more than housing — it is a stable, service-enriched community where veterans are supported with dignity, structure, and access to critical resources. We are looking for a strong operational leader who understands supportive housing, compliance, and the importance of maintaining both accountability and compassion. As the Property Manager at Piquette Square Apartments, you will oversee daily operations of an established veteran-focused supportive housing community. This role requires strong compliance knowledge, financial oversight, team leadership, and the ability to collaborate closely with service providers to ensure long-term resident stability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of property management experience required
  • At least 2 years of supportive housing experience strongly preferred (veterans housing experience highly desirable)
  • Working knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing regulations
  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and property performance metrics
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Problem solver with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to serving veterans and supporting a mission-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), or similar certifications
  • Experience working with veteran service providers
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations including leasing, certifications, compliance, maintenance coordination, and resident relations
  • Ensure full compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and other supportive housing regulations
  • Collaborate with service providers, case managers, and community partners to support resident success
  • Manage rent collection, budget monitoring, expense control, and financial reporting
  • Supervise and develop on-site staff, fostering a professional and resident-focused culture
  • Respond to resident concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation required by ownership and regulatory agencies
  • Prepare for inspections, audits, and agency reviews
