JOB SUMMARY The Property Night Manager is a business leader who focuses on resident customer service and manages operations, as well as some leasing activity, renewals, collections, interior property nightly inspections, and will be responsible for communicating any issues of the site to the property manager and or regional manager. MEASURES OF SUCCESS Resident feedback on the quality and timeliness of resident services provided and resident turnover. CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time, Non-Exempt SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8 pm - 4 am COMPENSATION: $22 per hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision: Serve as the primary leader and Manager on Duty (MOD). Will be required to walk the interior hallways to ensure no issues throughout the shift. Ensure residents are complying with all policies and procedures. Will be responsible for monitoring cameras and reporting any unusual or suspicious behavior to the police and or the Courtesy Patrol. Guest Services: Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Handle requests and provide a welcoming atmosphere. Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries and will report any guest issues to the property manager. Operations & Administration: Oversee all property operations during the night shift. Manage night audit procedures and daily overflow tasks. Review cameras throughout the night to ensure any unusual activity is reported to the proper authorities. Safety & Property Inspections: Conduct property walks and inspections for cleanliness. Respond to and manage emergencies (medical, fire, security issues) by reporting to local authorities and or courtesy property patrol. Enforce quiet hours and maintain a safe environment. Communication: Coordinate with daytime management for smooth handovers. Maintain communication with other departments. IN ESSENCE: The Night Manager keeps the property running smoothly, safely, and comfortably when most staff are gone, acting as the “eyes and ears” of daytime management and the ultimate authority for any issues that arise by reporting any problems to authorities and or courtesy patrol.
