Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in property management or a related field.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of property management software; experience with Appfolio preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of laws affecting property management and residential leasing.
  • Organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to handle resident concerns and conflict resolution effectively.
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required for securing supplies and traveling to court in representing the company in legal eviction proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of staff members to ensure a high-performance environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols.
  • Maintain and enhance property conditions through regular inspections and effective maintenance coordination.
  • Develop budgets, analyze financial reports, and manage fiscal responsibilities.
  • Drive marketing initiatives to maintain high occupancy levels and attract new residents.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, addressing any concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Conduct thorough leasing processes, from tours to signing lease agreements.
  • Manage resident retention programs and community engagement activities.
  • Act as a representative of CommonPlace in community events and local networking opportunities.
