About The Position

Habitat America, LLC, a growing property management company, seeks an experienced, professional Full-Time Property Manager for Woodington Gardens! Woodington Gardens is a newly renovated Tax Credit and Section 8 Multi-Family apartment community. Habitat America, LLC is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Property Manager is the face of any property and therefore it is imperative that candidates are trustworthy, have excellent customer service skills, written and oral communications skills and an attention to detail. To be considered for this position, candidates must have least 3+ years of prior property management experience as a tax credit/HUD section 8 Community Manager. TCS and COS Certifications are strongly preferred. The candidate for this position must possess an upbeat demeanor and can do attitude. Affordable housing experience required for this role. Requirements

3+ years experience as a HUD/Tax Credit Property Manager
Must have excellent communications skills and customer service skills
Must be able to work independently, and still be able to take directions given.
Experience with reviewing monthly operating statements for accuracy, budget to actual variances and bottom line cash flow control.
Ability to produce reports and monthly financials in an accurate and timely fashion.
Experience with certifying and re-certifying resident income in strict adherence to agency regulations, where applicable.
Advanced experience with HUD regulations and paperwork required.

Nice To Haves

Tax Credit experience desired
Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) or COS Certified Occupancy Specialist certification is a plus
Yardi software experience is a plus!
