About The Position

The Portfolio Property Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple communities in the Central Jersey area, ensuring their financial and operational success while providing excellent customer service. This role involves leadership, administrative support, and strategic recommendations for community improvement, all while managing a portfolio of over 60 communities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of property management experience.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage staff effectively.
  • Skills in contractor management and negotiation.
  • Experience in overseeing construction projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CAI Memberships and certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to community associations.
  • Ensure financial and operational success of the communities.
  • Balance customer service with expense savings.
  • Make recommendations for continual improvement of associations.
