About the position

We are looking for a dependable, multi-skilled Property Manager & Personal Assistant to oversee the management and maintenance of 2 residential estates, while also providing personal support to the property owners. This hands-on role requires someone who is highly organized, mechanically inclined, trustworthy, and comfortable wearing multiple hats including driving, running errands, troubleshooting household issues, and coordinating schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and general upkeep of property.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
  • Perform light repairs and maintenance (e.g., plumbing, painting, carpentry, basic electrical).
  • Coordinate with and supervise external vendors and contractors.
  • Ensure property is clean, safe, and compliant for the Owner.
  • Manage the housekeeping team.
  • Maintain maintenance records, receipts, and work logs.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve common issues involving plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and general wear-and-tear.
  • Act as the first responder for urgent maintenance concerns.
  • Contact, quote, and coordinate vendors for major repairs.
  • Safely drive owners to appointments, meetings, and events as needed.
  • Run personal errands for owners (e.g., picking up/dropping off packages, groceries, vehicle maintenance).
  • Manage the logistics and scheduling of vehicle use and maintenance.
  • Understand the personal and professional calendars of the owner, including appointments, household services, and travel arrangements- and plan accordingly.
  • Coordinate scheduling for property maintenance, vendor visits, and inspections.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management, general maintenance, and/or personal assistant roles.
  • Strong problem-solving and handyman skills.
  • Clean and valid driver's license with a reliable driving record.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use email, calendars, and maintenance tracking apps.
  • Must be proactive, self-directed, and adaptable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience supporting private families/individuals and/or managing multiple properties.
  • Knowledge of smart home systems and residential technologies.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor as needed.
