The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the property, ensuring positive relations with residents and prospects, and managing a team of employees. This role involves financial oversight, compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of property management and customer service.

  • Ensure positive resident and prospect relations by training employees to work collaboratively with them.
  • Train and supervise leasing staff to ensure effective marketing and sales of apartments.
  • Handle resident disputes and employee issues effectively.
  • Process rental applications and lease agreements, enforce property rules, and collect rent and late fees.
  • Oversee move-ins and move-outs, process invoices, collections, and renewals, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate on maintenance and cleaning oversight to ensure all areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Experience in property management or a similar field and relevant software.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Word, Excel, and other common software.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. without restrictions.
  • Ability to frequently stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, and walk distances.
