About The Position

The Property Manager at Inglis Housing Corporation is responsible for overseeing all aspects of property operations, ensuring the property is well-maintained, financially stable, and meets customer satisfaction standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
  • Knowledge of property management accounting, DHUD program guidelines, and facility maintenance programs
  • Familiarity with YARDI software
  • Knowledge of Philadelphia Housing Authority Rules and Regulations
  • Knowledge of NSPIRE, MOR, PHA, and PHFA inspections
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to the Inglis vision and mission
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Property Management Principles and guidelines
  • Excellent administrative, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Must have a working personal vehicle that is currently registered and insured

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Occupancy Specialist designation or LIHTC Certification
  • CPM preferred but not required
  • Preferred industry experience in Non-profit, Apartment Communities, Affordable and Accessible Housing

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all IHC Policies and directives including those found in the Operations and Procedures Manual
  • Prepare and process all leases and associated state and local addendums in accordance with HUD/LIHTC/PHFA/PHA/HOME guidelines
  • Collect, deposit via desktop banking system, and process rent in YARDI daily
  • Provide reports to both IHC Director of Compliance and Training and Finance Department
  • Post subsidy payments in YARDI upon notification from Finance
  • Post late fees and send late notices to all non-paying residents on the 6th of the month
  • Send all residents who have failed to pay the rent by the 10th of the month to counsel by e-mail to file for possession
  • Conduct a move out inspection, create invoice for resident damages and process security deposit refunds within two weeks of resident move out
  • Ensure that there are enough supplies to perform the functions of the office
  • Be available on call according to the schedule and on call chain
  • Travel between sites
  • Ensure that maintenance inventory is properly accounted for and that all maintenance areas are organized and stocked
