About The Position

The Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of an apartment community in south Austin, ensuring effective management of leasing, marketing, personnel training, budget tracking, maintenance, rent collection, and resident relations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Property Manager in the multi-family housing industry.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Solid organizational skills and leadership abilities.
• Excellent resident relations and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
• Experience with Yardi software is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment community.
• Lease apartments and manage marketing efforts.
• Train and manage personnel effectively.
• Prepare and track budgets for the community.
• Ensure community maintenance is up to standard.
• Collect rent and maintain occupancy levels.
• Foster positive resident relations.
