About The Position

The Property Manager for Multifamily properties is responsible for maintaining communities to a market-ready standard while ensuring a high level of service. This role involves overseeing all operations, motivating high-performing teams, and maximizing property performance in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Real Estate License preferred.
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience.
  • 3+ years of Management experience.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
  • General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits.
  • Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  • Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
  • Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.
  • Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel.
  • Drive revenues through understanding competition and developing creative marketing programs.
  • Lead by example and model Cushman & Wakefield's mission to be the best national management company.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
  • Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
  • Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
