About The Position

Multifamily Property Managers are responsible for maintaining communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This role involves overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. Property Managers provide superior customer service, develop and lead a cohesive team, drive revenues through market analysis and creative marketing programs, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. They are expected to manage the overall community budget and finances and work with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals.

Requirements

• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
• General office, bookkeeping and sales skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 3+ years of on-site Multifamily Property Manager experience required
• 1+ years of financial management, including property budget creation required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Real Estate License
• Yardi systems experience
• Luxury, Class-A property experience preferred, in Atlanta market

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment
• Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
• Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability
• Complete lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards
• Track and evaluate advertising, and all client traffic
• Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover
• Driving revenues with your thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs
• Leading by example
• Instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed
• Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary
• Maintain residents' files in accordance with company's standards
• Maintain a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up
• Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances
• Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met
• Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting, improving the performance of each staff member
• Supervise day-to-day operations of team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are followed
• Be able to manage a team
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
