Your day as a Property Manager Summer Intern - Yankee Hill Apartments As a Property Manager Summer Intern at Yankee Hill Apartments, you will engage in various tasks that contribute to the effective management of the property. Each day, you will assist in responding to tenant inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You'll help maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and follow up on service completion to uphold the property's standards. Additionally, you will participate in property inspections, identifying areas for improvement and supporting your team in implementing solutions. Your role will also involve attending team meetings, where you can share insights and learn about ongoing projects. Collaborating with team members, you'll assist in marketing initiatives and resident events to foster community engagement. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong customer service experience
- Extraordinary interpersonal & communication skills
- Physically able to perform regular inspections of the property, with or without accommodations
- Strong communication abilities are crucial, as you will interact with tenants and team members daily, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships.
- An empathetic approach will help you understand residents' needs, ensuring their satisfaction with their living experience.

Responsibilities
- Markets apartments according to Fair Housing guidelines and Resident Selection Plan
- Follows prospective tenant leads
- Maintains apartment showing schedule
- Gives apartment tours and showings
- Prepare and process leases
- Perform new resident orientation
- Take care of resident move-in and move-out
- Assist in preparing weekly traffic reports
- Maintain resident relations and enact company and community policies
- Regularly inspect property for curb appeal and safety hazards
- Report accidents, emergency situations, and safety hazards and file required reports
- Demonstrates and follows the Oakbrook Values
- All other duties as assigned
