Overview Reports to: Mortgage Servicing Administration Manager Functions Supervised: OREO inventory and real estate/mortgage property inspections. Primary Functions: Administer and coordinate the OREO property program. Provide for protection, security, maintenance and inspection of assigned properties. Duties and Responsibilities: Management of the OREO portfolio with an emphasis on inspection, maintenance and rehab to maximize the credit unions return on these properties. Maintain all OREO properties in a safe, clean and functional condition and prepare properties for listing with realtors. Coordinate bid sales as necessary. Coordinate purchase offers and document processing related to OREO sales. Review for accuracy, all expenses related to OREO property. Process all legal actions required for tenant evictions or collection of rents. Supervise the property inspection function to inspect and maintain assigned properties in compliance with investor or credit union requirements. Perform special property reviews as necessary, including member business loan reviews. Administer escrow holdback accounts and resolve non-completion and related problems as necessary. Review large vessel repossessions and manage rehabilitation activities as necessary. Prepare various reports and accounting documents as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Two years property management or four years experience with this or a similar-size financial institution, two of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. Experience/Skills: Thorough knowledge of investor requirements related to the inspection of serviced mortgage loans. Able to communicate effectively and have knowledge of office systems and operations. Should be an experienced supervisor with knowledge of sound management practices, collection procedures and building maintenance. Property management experience preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license, acceptable and insurable driving record, pre-employment and random drug testing. May be required to use own vehicle. Tenure: Not Applicable Compensation Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
