About The Position
D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a Leasing Manager for its multifamily development division, DHI Communities. The Leasing Manager will oversee all aspects of leasing and marketing at the property, working closely with the Regional Manager, Shared Service, and Marketing teams to meet leasing goals and assist in creating a strategic marketing plan. This role is crucial for effectively leading the overall leasing process, ensuring positive resident relations, and accomplishing effective leasing and marketing strategies. The Leasing Manager will be responsible for ensuring that leasing techniques are effective in meeting goals, which includes managing the application process, lease expirations, and securing renewals. The role requires conducting tours, maintaining the leasing center, and managing the move-in process. The Leasing Manager will also follow up with prospective residents to convey a commitment to service, complete acceptance and inspection walks with construction and new residents, and maintain community appearance through regular inspections. In addition to these responsibilities, the Leasing Manager will provide support and motivation to the leasing team, ensuring they receive the necessary training and education to succeed. This includes confirming that the leasing staff are converting inquiries and closing walk-in traffic according to predetermined standards. The position also involves staying informed about competitive properties and market trends, completing various accounting and administrative reports, and ensuring adherence to government regulations such as Fair Housing and ADA. The role requires flexibility, as weekend work and occasional travel may be necessary to assist other apartment communities or attend training classes. The Leasing Manager must respond quickly to resident concerns and assist in vendor scheduling and ordering supplies, while also providing feedback on pricing and marketing strategies.
