About The Position
The Onsite Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of multifamily real estate. Over the course of 10 weeks, you'll work alongside industry professionals, learning the ins and outs of property management, customer service, and sales. As a leasing intern, you'll participate in a variety of activities designed to enhance your skills and knowledge, including working with the onsite team to perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, and ensuring smooth move-ins and lease signings. You'll also learn the move-in and move-out process and coordinate with maintenance for any outstanding issues. Additionally, you will collaborate with the onsite team to help design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, and use property management software to track availability and manage data. The internship will also involve ensuring community and show units meet company standards, following up with prospects and new residents, and supporting the lease renewal program. Responding promptly to residents is also a key responsibility. In addition to daily work experience, you'll benefit from intern events, workshops, and networking opportunities that will help you build valuable connections and gain insights into the real estate industry. By the end of the program, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of the leasing process and be well-prepared for a successful career in real estate.
