About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role helps prevent downtime, maintains a clean and functional environment, and supports overall operational needs. This is a part-time position, working 2–3 days per week for approximately 12–16 hours per week. A unique benefit of this role is the opportunity to play golf on the course during downtime, once maintenance tasks are complete and course activity permits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to read manuals and work orders
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs)
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  • Diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Assist with installation of new equipment or facility upgrades
