About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day -to -day upkeep, routine maintenance, and minor repairs across our portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties. You will serve as the primary point of contact for tenant maintenance requests, ensuring all issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor plumbing (fixing leaks, unclogging drains), electrical (replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures), and carpentry tasks (repairing doors, fences, and cabinets).
- Coordinate and perform "make -ready" tasks to prepare vacant units for new tenants, including painting, drywall repair, and appliance testing.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major repairs. Replace HVAC filters, check smoke detectors, and inspect roofs/gutters.
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and interact with tenants in a friendly, professional manner.
- Assist the property manager in obtaining bids and supervising specialized contractors for large -scale or licensed projects.
- Participate in an on -call rotation to handle after -hours maintenance emergencies (e.g., pipe bursts, lockouts).
