About The Position

Join our team as a Property Maintenance Technician, where you’ll be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our properties, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and functionality. You will work closely with our Property Management Team, tenants, and vendors to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently, contributing to the overall satisfaction and well-being of our clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidates are expected to always maintain professionalism, including the quality of work, punctuality, attendance, and attitude.
  • Dependability, good judgment, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a willingness to learn about the field are expected.
  • Candidates should maintain positive working relationships with peers and demonstrate leadership qualities.

  • Certification in property maintenance or related trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, document, coordinate and manage maintenance programs including turnovers, timely work order service, and cost-effective inventory control of the properties.
  • Responsible for routine inspections, tenant improvements and providing positive tenant experiences.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and large-scale projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
