About The Position

The Village of Carol Stream seeks a motivated individual to perform property maintenance inspections 20 hours per week between the months of May and September. Responsibilities include identifying property maintenance issues; preparing and issuing courtesy notices, and working directly with property owners and tenants to obtain compliance. The individual in this position must have a strong customer service focus and work directly with residents to explain code requirements and answer code-related questions.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner with customers in an enforcement context
• A valid Illinois Vehicle Operator’s License
