The temporary Leasing Specialist role is an expert leasing professional position designed to provide specialized leasing assistance to Hornig Companies' Eden Prairie properties, which require additional leasing attention through September. Mileage and expenses for this role are company-paid.

Requirements

  • Strong leasing or similar sales experience
  • Detail orientation and attention to accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office

Nice To Haves

  • Appfolio software experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Expedite the leasing of the properties to which you are assigned
  • Answer phones, greet incoming traffic and respond to emails, establishing and maintaining professional rapport with prospects
  • Showcase, lease and market the property through video connections and in-person showings
  • Build relationships, follow up and maintain effective and timely communication and excellent customer service with staff and applicants
  • Provide creativity and strategy to best market the units
  • Evaluate marketing efforts and provide feedback on the best use of resources
  • Procure and maintain connections in the community for marketing
  • Initiate the move-in process and prepare accurate paperwork related to the move-in process
  • Complete appropriate reports pertaining to the leasing process
  • Provide administrative and operations support to your Manager
  • Communicate with applicants regarding repairs in a caring, compassionate manner that upholds Hornig Companies’ customer service reputation as well as Fair Housing guidelines
