As a Property/Lease & Title Analyst at ExxonMobil, you will play a crucial role in the review and analysis of complex leases, contracts, title opinions, and assignments. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of land title principles to accurately determine company ownership and obligations. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting lease terms and conditions related to oil and gas leases, contracts, and other agreements that pertain to company assets. This includes farm-ins, farm-outs, and term assignments, ensuring that all documentation is meticulously reviewed and understood. Your responsibilities will also include inputting and maintaining lease, contract, and other agreement data into Quorum Land for both operated and non-operated assets. This task involves subdividing acreage and working interest based on parameters such as lease descriptions, mineral interests, depth/pugh restrictions, and HBP/HBOP acreage statuses. You will research leasehold interest owners from title opinions, deeds, and various title documents to make necessary ownership changes and update lease records accordingly. In this role, you will ensure that well, lease, and contract relationships are accurate by utilizing research and analysis of documentation, GIS, and online resources, including TRRC, Drilling Info, BLM, and other state websites when appropriate. You will identify and document the actual holdings of the company in terms of acreage and percentage of ownership in properties, supporting multiple Land regions' review of calendars, including obligations and expirations. Additionally, you will be responsible for acquisition, divestiture, and converted data setup/cleanup while determining and verifying acreage, ownership, provisions, and legal descriptions.
