About The Position

CIS Group LLC is seeking a part-time, contracted Property Insurance Inspector to conduct field underwriting inspections primarily in residential areas. The role involves traveling to various locations to take photos and gather property data, which will be uploaded via smartphone or computer. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and is ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income while working independently.

Requirements

• 1099 Independent Contractor status (be your own boss!)
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
• Access to a fairly recent smartphone or tablet capable of taking and storing photos.
• Access to a computer with Wi-Fi.
• Good communication skills and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field underwriting inspections at residential properties.
• Take exterior and, when necessary, interior photos of properties.
• Gather and upload property data using a smartphone or computer.
• Manage a flexible schedule to complete inspections during daylight hours, Monday to Saturday.
