About The Position

Mueller Reports is seeking a dedicated Property Inspector to join our growing team in Salem, OR. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating properties for insurance purposes while enjoying the flexibility of working independently. This position offers the potential for full-time opportunities for inspectors who meet performance requirements. While prior experience in home inspections is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. Mueller Reports will cover the cost of an inspection certification course for qualified candidates, ensuring you have the necessary training to excel in this role. As a Property Inspector, your primary responsibilities will include traveling to various properties in your designated area to conduct thorough inspections. This involves capturing clear photographs of key areas such as the roof, exterior, and amenities, as well as identifying and documenting any hazards or issues that may affect the property's condition. You will also be responsible for measuring and diagramming properties using our user-friendly smartphone app, which allows you to input measurements and create accurate property diagrams and scans. After completing your inspections, you will report your findings by inputting measurements, photographs, and observations into our proprietary app to generate detailed inspection reports for our clients. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a flexible work schedule, as inspectors can set their own hours while meeting minimal availability requirements.
