About The Position

The Property Field Adjuster at American Modern Insurance Group is responsible for handling property damage claims in the Los Angeles area. This role involves working closely with customers to resolve their claims, conducting field inspections, and managing claims from investigation to conclusion. The ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making and organizational skills, along with a customer-focused approach to service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/industry experience.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Previous property claims experience or customer service experience with a construction background.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, set-up, ascend and descend ladders in excess of 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Industry training, coursework, certifications (AIC, CPSU, SCLA) preferred.
• Previous claims adjusting and estimating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle property damage claims in the Los Angeles territory.
• Conduct field inspections and provide prompt contact to policyholders.
• Manage claims from investigation, documentation, coverage analysis to subrogation/salvage assessment.
• Establish relationships with producing agencies.
• Participate in catastrophe duty as needed.
