What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned): Contribute to a great guest stay by ensuring the property is in good repair and free of hazards Follow guest room preventive maintenance checklist Complete room preventive maintenance and ensure that on completion the room is clean, and all materials removed Perform basic repairs including but not limited to replacing light fixtures, repairing grout, caulking, tightening loose toilet seats, performing minor plumbing/electrical repair, painting or wall repairs Interact with guests and addresses guest needs in a timely and supportive manner Report any serious maintenance issues, findings or safety issues immediately to the manager/ supervisor Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards What you should bring to the table: Hight School Diploma or equivalent Experience in general repair such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and maintenance of mechanical equipment Pool certification is a plus Your best professional manners Can-do attitude and passion for guest service Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner Consistently caring and respectful approach to others Ability to act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment
