About The Position

Pine Ridge Restoration is hiring a Water Damage Mitigation Technician to join our emergency response services (ERS) team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll help homeowners and businesses recover from unexpected water/fire/storm damage. If you’re reliable, motivated, and looking for a career with real advancement, this could be the perfect fit! You’ll respond to emergency water losses, extract water, remove contaminated building materials, set up drying equipment, monitor job progress, document your work, and communicate with customers during stressful situations. This role is physical, fast-moving, and highly rewarding. We provide paid training and certifications (including IICRC), and a clear advancement path: Technician → Lead Tech → Project Manager Pine Ridge Restoration is proudly an IICRC Certified Firm and renowned restoration company. Since 1989, we have been serving residential and commercial clients all over Northeast Ohio. Our specialties include water damage mitigation, clean up, flood work, mold, fire and smoke remediation, as well as full-scale build-back reconstruction efforts and remodeling.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in basements, crawlspaces, and tight spaces
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Experience in water mitigation, restoration, construction, or related trades is a major plus
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage emergencies
• Perform water extraction, demo, clean up, and structural drying
• Set and monitor drying equipment
• Take moisture readings and document job conditions (notes & photos)
• Communicate with homeowners, supervisors, & property managers
• Maintain clean vehicles, equipment, and worksites
