This position is responsible for managing and settling a high volume of insurance claims within assigned authority, operating independently with minimal supervision. The role requires extensive interaction with insured individuals, their legal representatives, and customer agents, as well as occasional contact with law enforcement officials. Key responsibilities include preparing and submitting reports within specified time frames in accordance with the Claims Technical Manual and supervisory requirements. The position also involves performing additional duties as assigned and ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures. Position requires extensive personal contact with insureds, their legal representatives and customer agents. Occasional contact with law enforcement officials may be required. Operate on an independent basis with limited supervision in handling/settling a high volume of claims within assigned authority. Submit reports within specified time frames as required by the Claims Technical Manual or as required by supervisor or manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Conforms with all corporate policies and procedures.
