About The Position

The Property Claims Adjuster at American Modern Insurance Group is responsible for handling property damage claims in the Sacramento, California area. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/industry experience.
• Previous property claims experience or customer service experience coupled with a construction background.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift, carry, set-up, ascend and descend ladders in excess of 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Industry training, coursework, certifications (AIC, CPSU, SCLA).
• Previous claims adjusting and estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt contact to policy holders and conduct field inspections.
• Handle field claims to conclusion, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis, and subrogation/salvage assessment.
• Establish relationships with producing agencies.
• Participate in catastrophe duty as needed.
