About The Position

We are seeking experienced Property Claim Adjusters to investigate, measure, apply coverage, adjust, and resolve homeowner, dwelling, condominium, renters, and commercial property claims across our 50-state U.S. market. This is an in-office desk-based role located in Jacksonville, FL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BBA) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance policies and principles.
  • Exceptional damage estimating and property repair knowledge.
  • Excellent investigation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other business applications.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to changing workloads.
  • Commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience handling residential and commercial property claims.
  • Familiarity with Unfair/Fair Claim Practices and insurance codes.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  • Resolve coverage questions while protecting company rights under policy forms.
  • Prepare professional correspondence, including non-waiver, reservation of rights, disclaimers, and other claim-related letters.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly with all parties involved in the claims process.
  • Utilize strategic claim adjusting resources, including remote tools and independent adjusters.
  • Maintain accurate claim documentation and reserves.
  • Identify and pursue subrogation and salvage recovery opportunities.
  • Manage disputed claims, including AOBs, CRNs, NOIs, and complex scope or price disputes.
  • Prepare detailed claim reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize Xactimate to create and audit property damage estimates; develop ongoing estimating skills.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state insurance laws, regulations, and company standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage conflict professionally.
  • Maintain required adjuster licenses and continuing education.
