Responsible for developing, managing, marketing, underwriting, and sustaining profitable business by providing high level technical and sales expertise with commercial insurance coverages for the clients of independent and retail insurance agents and brokerages. We are seeking a driven and experienced Property & Casualty Wholesale Broker to place complex commercial risks in the E&S marketplace. This role focuses on marketing submissions, negotiating terms, securing competitive placements, and delivering top-tier service to retail broker partners while building strong carrier relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years commercial P&C experience (wholesale/E&S preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GL, Excess/Umbrella, Property, Auto (and related coverages)
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple submissions at once
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Active P&C license required

Responsibilities

  • Market and place E&S property and casualty accounts with domestic and London markets
  • Analyze submissions and develop smart placement strategies (primary, excess, layered)
  • Negotiate pricing, coverage terms, and structure with underwriters
  • Present quotes clearly to retail brokers and assist with coverage analysis
  • Drive production through new business development and renewal retention
  • Partner with internal service teams to ensure smooth binding and policy issuance
  • Maintain compliance with E&S guidelines and documentation requirements
